Launch your next career in Central Texas with the Military Manufacturing Pipeline Program, a fast, focused pathway designed to help military-connected candidates move from service to a well-paying job.
The Military Manufacturing Pipeline Program helps service members, veterans, and military spouses transition into stable, high-growth careers in the manufacturing industry in the greater Austin area. This program is designed for people who are ready to build a hands-on career, develop in-demand skills, and move quickly into employment.
Selected candidates are placed into one of two short-term training programs at Austin Community College, lasting 4 to 6 weeks, based on their skill level. The training prepares participants for entry-level or mid-skill manufacturing jobs and focuses on practical skills to help them feel confident on the job.
WSRCA is partnering with Austin Community College, the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association, and Workforce Solutions Capital Area to help transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses move quickly into in-demand manufacturing jobs across greater Austin.
A unique benefit of this program is that eligible candidates who appear to be a strong fit may interview with employers and receive conditional job offers before training begins. Training is provided at no cost, and participants who successfully complete the program are prepared to start work after graduation.
The first cohort begins May 2026.
