Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area Welcomes Jessica Garza as Implementation Coordinator for Regional Convening Grant

CEDAR PARK, Texas — Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA), the nonprofit community partnership delivering innovative and sustainable workforce development solutions to empower the nine-county Rural Capital Area of Central Texas has hired Jessica Garza as Implementation Coordinator for the Texas Tri-Agency Regional Convening Grant.
Jessica brings a strong background in program development and management and will be instrumental in advancing the goals of the grant. She has worked in the nonprofit, education, and tech start-up industries. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science from Texas State University and a Master of Science degree in Business Leadership and Change from St. Edward’s University.
She steps into the role following the departure of the previous convener to ensure continued momentum in building coordinated education and career pathways that meet the needs of students and employers across the region.

The Tri-Agency Conveners Grant, supported by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), is designed to support the development of career pathways in high-demand industries by aligning education with regional workforce needs. WSRCA is one of only 22 industry-led workforce training partnerships across the state of Texas awarded the prestigious Conveners grant, a key initiative aimed at ensuring that students and workers are prepared for successful careers in growing sectors. This work will help bridge skills gaps, drive economic development, and ensure equitable access to career opportunities across the nine-county Rural Capital Area.
