National Read a Book Day

September 6th is National Read a Book Day! Did you know that long before they can read, infants and toddlers can develop literacy skills and an understanding of language? 

Reading early and often to your child helps establish a strong foundation for learning later in life.

According to the State of Babies Yearbook 2022 from Zero to Three, only 27% of Texas parents read to their babies daily.
