WSRCA Team Helps Connect Students to Careers at Taylor Trades Day

Your Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area team is proud to have joined with our partners at Taylor ISD and the Taylor Chamber, for the 2020 Taylor Trades Day event, which was held at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor.

The event  helped connect area students interested in working in technology fields, the trades and manufacturing, with local industry representatives and training resources, to bridge their classroom learning to the workplace.

By participating in this career day event, students were able to experience the real story of working in their trade of interest, viewed hands-on demonstrations and learned more about forging a rewarding career path right, right in their own community.

Many thanks to all of the local employers, community partnerships and educators that took part, to empower our Rural Capital Area students.
