CEDAR PARK, Texas – Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) is proud to announce the promotion of Stephanie Mora to Industry Engagement Manager. In this role, Mora collaborates with employers, educators, and community partners to strengthen workforce development initiatives and advance WSRCA’s mission of connecting people to opportunities that drive regional economic growth.
Since joining WSRCA, Mora has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to workforce innovation. She previously served as an Industry Sector Liaison, specializing in Manufacturing and Skilled Trades, where she partnered with employers and community organizations to develop Registered Apprenticeship Programs and expand access to skilled career opportunities. Earlier, as a Youth Talent Engagement Specialist, she empowered young adults through career exploration, work readiness programs, and school partnerships that inspired career advancement in high-demand industries. Her work facilitating employer roundtables, coordinating pre-apprenticeship programs with ISDs, and helping establish the Taylor Manufacturing Alliance has supported local businesses in identifying workforce needs and developing sustainable talent pipelines.
“Stephanie’s enthusiasm for collaboration and her commitment to community partnerships have been key to the success of our industry engagement efforts,” said Sarah Ruddy, Chief Business Development Officer for WSRCA. “Her ability to build trust with employers, inspire young professionals, and identify innovative solutions helps our board continue strengthening sector partnerships that support economic growth and opportunity across our region.”
A candidate for a Master’s Degree in Public Affairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin, Mora maintains top academic standing while leading workforce initiatives. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has been nominated for the 2025 Pillar Award by the Austin Regional Manufacturers Association (ARMA) for her contributions to regional workforce development.
Outside of work, Mora is passionate about public speaking and the performing arts, using both to inspire collaboration, creativity, and community connection.
