CEDAR PARK, Texas – Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) is proud to announce the promotion of Berenice Lopez to Communications Manager. In her new role, Lopez will lead content creation and oversee marketing and communications strategies across the organization’s nine-county region, advancing WSRCA’s mission to connect employers, job seekers, and community partners in building a thriving regional workforce.
Since joining WSRCA, Lopez has demonstrated exceptional creativity, leadership, and commitment to strengthening community connections through strategic storytelling. She develops and implements multi-channel marketing campaigns that enhance the organization’s visibility, engage local stakeholders, and highlight opportunities available through WSRCA’s programs and partnerships.
As Communications Coordinator, Lopez led content creation, managed social media, and supported communications strategies that serve communities across Central Texas. Passionate about connecting people to valuable resources through clear and purposeful messaging, she creates engaging, accessible content for diverse audiences, including Latino communities. Fluent in English and Spanish, she builds strong cross-cultural connections and brings a collaborative, results-driven approach rooted in her background in communications, community outreach, and economic development.

Outside of work, Lopez enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and taking walks. Her values of curiosity, connection, and lifelong learning reflect WSRCA’s ongoing commitment to empowering people and strengthening communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Small Business and Entrepreneurship from New Mexico State University (NMSU).
