CEDAR PARK, Texas – Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA), in partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission, the Office of the Governor, the Texas Medical Center, and the Texas Veterans Commission, is proud to host the 14th Annual Hiring Red, White & You! Statewide Veterans Hiring Event on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
This statewide initiative, supported by all 28 Texas Workforce Solutions development boards, is dedicated to connecting veterans, transitioning service members, and their spouses with employers who value the leadership, skills, and discipline developed through military service.
Since its launch in 2012, Hiring Red, White & You! has connected more than 137,000 job seekers statewide, including over 47,000 veterans, with more than 24,000 employers, resulting in over 3,400 same-day hires. These outcomes highlight the event’s impact in helping service members and their families successfully transition into civilian careers while giving Texas employers access to highly skilled talent.
The in-person event will be held at two locations:
- Round Rock Sports Center – 2400 Chisholm Trail, Round Rock, TX 78681
- Hilton Garden Inn San Marcos – 2131 Interstate 35, San Marcos, TX 78666
Event Schedule:
- Priority Service Hours (Veterans & Families): 9:00 – 11:00 AM
- Open to the Public: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Job seekers will gain direct access to employers actively recruiting veterans and military spouses, explore career pathways, and connect to workforce resources to support long-term career success. Employers will benefit from meeting highly skilled candidates and demonstrating their commitment to hiring members of the veteran community.
“Hiring Red, White & You! is about making the transition from military to civilian life a little smoother,” said Paul Fletcher, CEO of Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area. “Veterans bring leadership, discipline, and problem-solving skills that employers are actively looking for, and this event helps connect those talents with the right local opportunities.”
