CEDAR PARK, Texas – Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) is proud to announce the promotions of Meranda Stanley and Derek Grossenbacher, recognizing their contributions while strengthening executive operations, employee development and organizational culture across its nine-county Central Texas service area.
Stanley has been promoted from Executive Administrative Assistant to Executive Operations Manager, while Grossenbacher advances from Executive Office Manager to Director of People Operations and Culture. Both will take on expanded leadership responsibilities to improve organizational effectiveness, strengthen partnerships and support WSRCA's workforce development mission.
"Great organizations are built by great people, and Meranda and Derek have consistently demonstrated the leadership and dedication that make our mission possible," said Paul Fletcher, CEO of WSRCA. "These promotions recognize their contributions while positioning us to better support our employees, partners and the communities we serve."
Stanley to Lead Executive Operations
As Executive Operations Manager, Stanley will oversee Board Office operations, executive initiatives, organizational projects and facilities coordination across WSRCA locations. She will also serve as a key liaison among executive leadership, Board members, staff, contractors and partners, with expanded responsibilities in governance support and strategic operational planning.
Previously, Stanley provided executive-level administrative support, coordinated Board activities and managed high-priority communications. Her professionalism, organizational expertise and commitment to excellence have strengthened WSRCA's operations and executive leadership support.
"Meranda has an exceptional ability to bring people, priorities and projects together," said Diane Cook, Chief Operating Officer of WSRCA. "She's someone our team can always count on to get things done, find solutions and keep us moving forward. This promotion recognizes the leadership she's already demonstrated and gives her an opportunity to make an even greater impact across our organization."
Grossenbacher to Strengthen People Operations and Culture
As Director of People Operations and Culture, Grossenbacher will build on his previous responsibilities with an expanded focus on employee development, organizational effectiveness and workplace culture.
He will oversee human resources, talent strategy, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, leadership development, succession planning and change management.
A key priority will be establishing a shared organizational culture framework that reinforces WSRCA's values, workplace expectations and commitment to service excellence. He will also help extend those expectations across partner agencies, contractors and service-delivery organizations, consistent with governing agreements.
"Derek recognizes that a strong workplace culture doesn't happen by accident. It takes leadership, trust and a genuine commitment to the people doing the work," Cook added. "His experience and understanding of our organization will help us continue building an environment where employees feel valued, teams work together and everyone understands how their contributions support our mission."
