WSRCA Team Takes Part in Grand Opening of State-of-the-Art 130 Environmental Park in Lockhart
Congratulations to the Integrated Waste Solutions Group (IWSG) on the grand opening of 130 Environmental Park in Lockhart.
The 1,200-acre site includes a municipal solid waste landfill, a transfer station, a facility for processing recyclable materials, and an industrial park, which will attract more businesses, jobs and tax revenue to the community.
The landfill segment of the development includes approximately 500 acres. Subsequent phases will bring facilities for education and community use for local organizations.
IWSG says the 130EP project is the first municipal solid waste landfill to be built in the region in approximately 30 years.
The 130EP complex is located east of Texas State Highway 130 and north of FM 1185 in Lockhart.
