Supported by WSRCA, RWHC launched its first regional healthcare workforce committee, bringing partners together to address workforce gaps and expand access to care in rural Central Texas.
Leaders across Williamson County came together in Round Rock to align on workforce challenges and solutions, connecting employers, education, and community partners to support regional growth and opportunity.
Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area, in partnership with Workforce Solutions Capital Area, joined students from across Central Texas for the Metroplex Skilled Trades Rally, held March 10 and March 12. The two-day event gave students the opportunity to explore careers in the skilled trades through direct engagement with trade unions, industry representatives, and workforce leaders.
Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area hosted NetWORK! to help high school students strengthen career readiness through mock interviews, direct feedback from professionals, and conversations with employers. Students also received practical guidance on resumes, LinkedIn, and career pathways to support their next steps after graduation.
