CEDAR PARK, Texas – Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) proudly announces the promotion of Traci Slaughter to Senior Contract Manager, Workforce and Special Initiatives, recognizing her outstanding leadership, deep expertise in contract administration, and unwavering commitment to advancing the organization’s workforce and community impact goals. Traci’s promotion reflects her exceptional performance in managing large-scale grants and her ability to strengthen partnerships that drive workforce innovation, accountability, and measurable results across the region.

“Traci’s professionalism, attention to detail, and passion for excellence have made her an invaluable part of our team,” said Paul Fletcher, CEO of WSRCA. “Her leadership in managing workforce and special grant programs helps ensure that our organization continues to meet the highest standards of performance, accountability, and impact.”

In her new role, Traci will oversee the development, negotiation, and administration of complex contracts and grant-funded programs that support WSRCA’s mission of connecting people, employers, and opportunities across Central Texas. She will ensure all workforce and special initiatives are executed in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as agency policies and performance standards. Traci joined the WSRCA team in August 2022 as a Contracts Specialist and has since played a key role in managing critical Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) grants such as Skills Development Funds, Apprenticeship Texas, and Workforce Career Initiatives. Her results-driven approach and strong fiscal oversight have supported successful collaborations between employers, training providers, and community partners that expand access to career pathways and strengthen local economies.

A graduate of Alabama A&M University, Traci holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and brings more than 20 years of experience in logistics and procurement, having served in multiple leadership roles throughout her career.

Outside of work, Traci is a devoted mother of three who enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
