Connecting Classrooms to Careers! As the excitement of a new school year approaches, educators, students, and parents are gearing up for a fresh start, and we're excited to team up with our amazing community partners in Round Rock to empower students to be Future Ready.

We're grateful for the opportunity to attend the Texas Association of Workforce Boards Quarterly Meeting & Executive Directors' Council Retreat in Arlington this week to collaborate on best practices to continue enhancing workforce opportunities for Texans statewide.

Central Texas is blessed with scenic beauty and a rich cultural heritage across its many communities. However, beneath this tranquil surface, many rural communities within the region face unique challenges in their pursuit of economic growth and prosperity. The key to unlocking their potential lies in a dedicated workforce development engine - Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area.

Congratulations to our partners at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 520 for opening a new electrician training center in Taylor to meet the rapidly growing employment needs of Samsung Austin Semiconductor and many more local employers.
