Dell Technologies was recognized with the Employer Award of Excellence for the Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area at the Texas Workforce Commission’s 23rd Annual Texas Workforce Conference held December 4-6 in Dallas.
On Friday, October 4, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) helped celebrate our 3rd Annual Manufacturing Day across our nine-county region, by raising more awareness of the wonderful investments that our local manufacturers make within our communities, and to our workforce.
Your Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) Team took part in the 3rd Annual Apprenticeship Texas Conference in San Antonio, from September 19-20, hosted by Texas Workforce Commission Labor Commissioner, Julian Alvarez.
Your WSRCA team partnered with the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, the Bastrop Economic Development Corporation, and the Governor’s Business and Community Development Division, to host the Governor’s Small Business Workshop - Central Texas, at the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center. TWC Commissioner Representing Labor, Julian Alvarez, provided the keynote address to attendees, and WSRCA Business Services Consultant, Craig Henry, provided insights on programs and support available for local employers.
Your WSRCA team is proud to have taken part in the 34th Annual San Marcos Chamber Business EXPO, which was held at the Embassy Suites San Marcos Resort and Convention Center. Thanks to the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce, our Board members, and the more than 120 employers and over 1,500 attendees who helped make this year's event even more special.
