In case you have not heard, the Texas Workforce Commission is reinstating work search requirements for unemployment insurance claimants. What this means is that effective November 1, 2020, when you request a benefits payment, you will need to certify that you are meeting your required number of work searches each week. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is looking to hire hundreds of workers ahead of the 2021 tax season and Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) is hosting virtual hiring events every Tuesday through November to help them connect with you.
