WSRCA CEO Paul Fletcher, will help lead an in-depth discussion on the workforce challenges and opportunities that face the San Marcos healthcare systems, and their effects on the business community, during the 2019 State of Health and Workforce Luncheon at the San Marcos Convention Center on Oct. 17.
Our first National Disability Employment Awareness Month Employer Seminar on Working Through Behavioral Health Challenges was held at the Round Rock Career Center on Monday.
On Friday, October 4, Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area (WSRCA) helped celebrate our 3rd Annual Manufacturing Day across our nine-county region, by raising more awareness of the wonderful investments that our local manufacturers make within our communities, and to our workforce.
Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area CEO Paul Fletcher has been recognized as a Results for America Workforce Fellow, and joined more than 300 results-driven leaders from 31 states and 42 cities at Results for America’s 2019 Summit in Washington, D.C., which spotlighted “What Works to Advance Economic Mobility.”
Texas Workforce Solutions-Vocational Rehabilitation Services and Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area are celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) this October by holding free weekly seminars for employers at the Workforce Solutions of Williamson County career center in Round Rock. The NDEAM seminars will be held on Mondays throughout October from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., to help employers explore opportunities to hire, retain and promote people with disabilities.
