Our amazing Rural Capital Area Child Care Services (CCS) team hosted another round of events to distribute critical health and safety supplies to dozens of local early childhood development centers, which are providing care and education to the children of our community's workers.
On December 27, 2020, the President signed into law the latest COVID-19 stimulus bill. This includes another round of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), as well as some improvements to the process. It also changes and extends other stimulus programs that could be beneficial for early care and education organizations.
Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area's partners at Austin PBS are a recipient of a 2021 outreach grant from Sesame Street with a focus on rural child care providers in our region serving children ages 2-5.
Our partners at the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) are developing the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) State Plan for Fiscal Years 2022-2024. The CCDF State Plan will outline the policies, strategies and vision for the child care program, including the subsidy program and Texas Rising Star.
Kim Paper and our amazing Rural Capital Area Child Care Services team, re-joined on Saturday for a second distribution of critical health and safety supplies to more than 60 local early childhood development centers, which are providing care and education to the children of our community's workers.
